Kate Mezger
Kate has worked with young people for over 17 years having been the Head of Philosophy & Religion at a large London day school and a youth worker in local churches. More recently, she has worked to promote the SFC movement both where she teaches and in her children's schools. She has a particular interest in researching the impact of Ed Tech in the classroom and is connected with a number of groups trying to share information around this topic.
Kate has witnessed first hand the rise in anxiety, depression and general apathy in young people in recent years and feels passionately about empowering parents to feel free to voice their concerns and make the right choices about the role tech should play in their own children's lives. She feels that the government are unlikely to regulate 'Big Tech' in the near future so it is up to parents to join together to educate themselves and support each other! Kate has 3 children aged 11,9 & 5.
