Ruth Smyth

Ruth is an experienced HR Director, mental health first aider and a parent of school aged children. She fuelled her passion for protecting childhood and improving children’s mental health by becoming involved in the Delay Smartphone campaign in early 2024, voluntarily working with her local school leadership and parent community to educate about the harms of smartphones and social media.

Her ambition is to do everything she can to raise awareness and equip parents and children with the tools and knowledge that will enable them to create a better, safer future for their children in the digital age.
